DIRTY Smashed Burgers

Todd “The DIRT Man” shows you how to make the Best Smashed Burger’s using the Salty Sailor rub. This is a really easy recipe that you and your family are going to love. Todd is cooking on his Camp Chef Griddle.

1 pound of 80/20 Hamburger Meat
Salty Sailor Rub
1 large Onion
1 Tomato
American Cheese slices

DIRTY Onions
1 tablespoon of Original DIRT
Olive oil

Take the meat and put in a bowl. Mix in 1 tablespoon of Salty Sailor rub. Mix really well. Take 1/4 of the hamburger meat and put in your hand. Roll the meat around your hand and then flatten the meat real gently. Sprinkle Salty Sailor on both sides of the burger. Slice the Onions pretty thin. On a medium heat griddle, put a tablespoon of olive oil on the griddle and using a spatula spread the oil in a big circle. Place the onions on top of the oil and mix. Take the Original DIRT and sprinkle all over the onions. cook the onions until desired doneness. Place the hamburger on the griddle. After 4 to 5 minutes or until half the hamburger has been cooked and then flip. Put American or your favorite cheese on top of the burger. When the hamburger is done, Put the burger on a bun and place the DIRTY Onions on top.
